Our list contains address details which you will need to put into Rightmove or FindaProperty to get the contact details of the agent selling the properties.

There are many investors out there now who are looking to buy and take their money out of the bank, with bank interest rates offering small returns in comparison. Repossessions are being targeted now by investors and we do find that people are getting gazumped by other buyers.

*Did you know?

  • The agent is obliged to keep a repossession property marketed until exchange of contracts. Therefore you are allowed to view and make an offer on a property that is marked 'under offer' or 'sold' at anytime before exchange of contracts.

  • Also, a repossession property must sometimes be marketed for a period of two weeks before the lender can accept an offer.

  • The bank may also request that an advert is placed in the local newspaper confirming the value of an offer, to show that they are doing their best to achieve the best possible price.

  • If there are several interested parties the lender may decide to go to 'sealed bids'. In this instance, you will be required to post a letter to the agent in charge of the sale before a set deadline with your final highest bid. The highest bid secures the property.
